 s is a long and steep walk with great views but with a number of steep c
 limbs and a short distance off track. We climb steeply up a track to Sno
 wy Corner (500vm) after which the trail becomes less steep to Mt Tidbinb
 illa. At Mt Tidbinbilla, if we have time, we will go SW off track to a r
 ocky area hopefully with views (this is exploratory - about 500m with a 
 descent of 50 metres). We then go back to Mt Tidbinbilla before precedin
 g to the Pimple on track and then back to Mountain Ck carpark via Tidbin
 billa Peak. This will be a long day with an early start. Gaiters, gloves
  and eye protection recomended. Walking poles can be helpful for going d
 ownhill. This is a tough walk for fit walkers who have done similar walk
 s before. If you have not, please contact the leader. Leaving Kambah Vil
 lage car park, Marconi Cres, at 8 am sharp. Weather at present for Wedne
 sday is forecast to be -2 to 15 and fine in Canberra. It will be signifi
 cantly colder on the high ridge. Suggested transport costs have not been
  posted by the leader but are likely to be of the order of $10 per passe
 nger. *Those doing their first Wednesday Walk, and those who are not mem
 bers of the CBC, BBC or NPA, must contact the leader to discuss the leve
 l of difficulty of the walk.*
