Mt Bimberi - Highest Peak in the ACT 1913

We start our trip at Lanyon shops on the Saturday at 0900. Day 1 our walk starts at Orroral Tracking Station, following the Cotter Hut Road and the AAWT we arrive at our night stop at Cotter Flats. About 15km, with 500m ascent, Sunday Day 2 we set off with day packs to Mt Bimberi via Murrays Gap, this is about 20 km, with 1100 ish ascent, we return to our camp via the same route. Day 3 Monday morning we return to the Orroral car park for the drive back to Lanyon.
While this is a well trodden path for the CBC, I have not visit Bimberi previously so this is partly new to me.
Overnight backpack experience is required.

Transport information
Meet at Lanyon Shops at 0845 for 0900 depart, car pool in 2 cars. $32.00 per car, $8.00 pp. Final details will be posted closer to the date. Pick-ups maybe possible.
