 m Corin Dam Road we follow old forestry roads then off track down beside
  Punchbowl Creek (scrub assured) to the falls. From here climb steeply s
 outh to White Horse Rocks then south-east into the grasslands of the hea
 dwaters of Blue Gum Creek. The creek is followed for a kilometre or so. 
 Time permitting, we then head north-west to explore Hill 1457 and anothe
 r outcrop to the west. The walk is mostly off track with a couple of ste
 ep climbs and includes rock scrambling and thick scrub. The outcrops wes
 t of Smokers Trail are unfamiliar to the leader. Scrub gloves, gaiters a
 nd eye protection recommended. Distance and climb: 12 km and around 600
