A once in a lifetime opportunity to walk in the eastern section of the Jerra Grasslands NR. Bag Mike trig, get as close as you’d ever want to the Alexander Maconochie Centre’s eastern high fence, stroll along the bank of Jerrabomberra Creek. Hop the border rail line into NSW to walk in the Queanbeyan NR. The natural temperate grassland area is home to endangered species – Earless Dragon, Striped Legless Lizard, Golden Sun Moth, Perunga Grasshopper. Around 7km and 100vm, taking around 2-3 hours. A late 9am start.
