S tarting at Rendezvous Creek Trail head the hike follows the contours of the creek to the North West to the Bimberi Wilderness Area through a cla ssic sub-alpine valley landscape with wide, frost-hollowed grassy flats surrounded by steep, forested ridges dominated by massive, weathered gra nite outcrops. The route involves varied terrain across a flat to undula ting landscape, mostly off-trail but also utilizing management trails, b ush tracks and rough footpads through expansive grasslands and native fo rested woodlands.
