DESCRIPTION:Designed for families with active kids 7 years or older. Arr
 ive on the afternoon of Sunday 17th January and leave Friday 22 January.
  Day walks depending on the weather. Options include hilly walks from th
 e top of the Thredbo chair through alpine meadows to explore giant grani
 te boulders, an off track walk into the upper Thredbo Valley (cascades, 
 some scrub), a walk into a swimming hole in the Murray River which is a 
 half hour drive from Thredbo, and possibly a picnic with liloing opportu
 nities near Bullocks Flat. Costs will include a Parks Pass, lift tickets
 , and accommodation. Please note: as of July 25th 2026, three families a
 re booked, and they have filled up all the five night vacancies in the l
 odge accommodation organised by the leader. Additional families welcome,
  but will need either to find independent accommodation, preferably in T
 hredbo, or to come for only four days (arrive Sun 17, depart Thu 21 Janu
 ary, since there is, at 27 July, still some accommodation available in t
 he lodge for those first 4 nights. Please include the first and last nam
 es of all adults and children, and ages of children, in the Notes field 
 when you book.
