Stromlo Forest Park, the unused part. This walk is mainly through generally open county. We start on Uriarra Road, walking around the western edge of the park to Brown Hill, the to Mount Stromlo, then back through to Casuarina forest. Mainly on undulating fire trails, but with two short sections off track, each about 100 m, one across a very small creek. Total climb about 250 m, distance 14km, BBC grade 8.

Meet at the ‘Western trail head’ parking area, on the Uriarra Road, 2.5 km west from the turn off to Stromlo Leasure Centre and the end of Opperman Avenue.
