DESCRIPTION:The Buller Huts Trail is a challenging 96km, 7-day Grade 5 a
 lpine trek for experienced hikers. The circuit commences and ends on Mou
 nt Buller, in the Victorian Alps, and traverses remote alpine terrain, i
 ncluding steep climbs, exposed ridges, and river crossings. I intend to 
 do this walk at the end of December when I'm hoping for alpine wildflowe
 rs and greener conditions. I'll be following the standard 7 day itinerar

 lowing a 10 day weather window starting 27 December (including 2 days of
  driving there and back). I'm seeking expressions of interest from CBC m
 embers wanting to join me. Numbers in the party will be limited to 6. No
 te: I will be looking to carpool to/from Canberra.
