(0414363255)**. I believe this is a new walk. Starting from ne ar the junction of Woolcara Lane and Spring Creek Trail we head east for 4 km, generally following the high ground. This is mostly open forest w ith some brief but annoying sections of thick scrub. We then go south to meet Spring Creek and follow it for about 4.5 km back to the cars. We†™ll be walking and rock-hopping in the mostly dry creek bed, but will ha ve to leave it occasionally to get around the few remaining large pools, one of which I tested for depth and quality during my recce. See attach ed photo of a typical section. This walk is all off-track and while only 9 km it will take about 6 hours to complete. 450 m climb; Grade: BBC 10 (top end of medium).
