Easy-Medium Wednesday Walk, 6 May. #1 A climb to Mt Mugga Mugga, followed by a visit to the powder magazine in Callum Brae and a ramble through the Isaacs Ridge Nature Reserve.

The gentle climb to Mt Mugga Mugga takes us through the remnants of an early Charles Weston plantation followed by an inspection of an old boiler from the operational days of the Quarry. Following the descent, we head to the northern parts of Callum Brae for a visit to the powder magazines, followed by a ramble along lower tracks on the grassland side of Isaacs Ridge with a return through the Isaacs Pines and back to the cars. This walk is on tracks or openwoodland/grassland.
Grading: BBC 7, CBC Medium/Easy.

Meeting place and time: Meet in Akame Circuit,O’Malley, (north east of the Dalman Crescent intersection) adjacent to the entrance to the Mt Mugga Mugga Nature Reserve. 8.15am ready for an 8.30am start.
