DESCRIPTION:From Berlang Campground on Cotter Rd, we walk Past the Big H
 ole to Marble Arch. From there we explore a short but very pretty slot c
 anyon which ends at a pool. With ropes we'll see how far beyond this poi
 nt we can get, and what may lie downstream. This is a mandatorily wet an
 d scrambly walk. There is a crossing of the Shoalhaven (probably calf-kn
 ee deep) immediately after leaving the carpark. The canyon bottom is a s
 tring of unavoidable small pools and the pool we cross will be a wade, m
 aybe hip deep. Also, last time we walked to Marble Arch it rained, and t
 he leeches came out. Suitable for fit walkers with off-track and rock-sc
 rambling experience.
