Medium-Hard Wednesday Walk, 15 April, Ascent Of Unnamed Creek - Mount Tennent (BBC)

The walk involves climbing up an unnamed creek on the north-east side of Mount Tennent. This is a great walk climbing various rock slabs and has wonderful views over Tuggeranong. From the Namadgi Visitor Centre, we head up Mount Tennent Track, then off track to the unnamed creek, then we commence the climb up the creek until we meet the main summit track. We don't continue to the top of Mount Tennent, but descend via the track returning to the Visitor Centre.

Note - Lots of scrambling up rock slabs, some granite outcrops to negotiate and thick spiky scrub near the top of the climb. Strongly recommend eye protection, scrub gloves, long pants and/or gaiters.
