 billa Tracking Station we climb a lightly wooded spur to reach the Bulle
 n Range Fire Trail. A little further north we take a similar steepish sp
 ur east, dropping down to a knoll overlooking Kambah Pool. We do not go 
 down to river level but stay high and follow the river north for good vi
 ews. After crossing a couple of steep gullies we then reach a fire trail
  that takes us back over the range and a return to the cars. Nice unspoi
 lt forest, mostly off-track walking which we'll take slowly and carefull
 y. Distance: 8 km. Climb: 460m. BBC Rating of 8. You may consider bringi
 ng poles for the steeper sections, also gaiters for potentially long gra
 ss. Maps: Tidbinbilla, Tuggeranong. Weather: As of Friday, forecast maxi
 mum of 22C, no rain. Meeting Time: 8.20am for an 8.30am departure Meetin
 g Place: Kambah Village Shopping Centre car park opposite the service st
 ation. Transport: Distance 65km ($9 per passenger). Alternatively: Meet 
 at Tidbinbilla Tracking Station car park at 9am (no need to tell the lea
 der beforehand). Those doing their first Wednesday Walk, and those who a
 re not members of the CBC, BBC or NPA, must contact the leader to discus
 s the level of difficulty of the walk.
