Square Rock & Smokers Trail

From the Square Rock car park on Corin Road, we follow the well defined trail through beautiful eucalypt forests directly to Square Rock, to avoid the later crowds. It is a well loved trail by Canberrans and visitors! After visiting the huge granite tor - Square Rock, which overlooks Corin Dam road and provides great views out to Brindabellas, we follow the trail back to the junction, joining the Smokers Gap Link Trail, then return to our cars via the Smokers Trail loop. A morning tea break, rest stops and lunch during the walk. Sometimes, parts of the trail are a bit boggy, a bit overgrown. Long pants and or gaiters recommended.
