DESCRIPTION:Legoland is a wonderful complex of giant granite boulders ab
 out 15 minutes drive past Honeysuckle Creek campground in Namadgi NP. Th
 is walk is designed for active families with kids aged 5 and upwards - t
 hough toddlers in back packs will also enjoy it. The walk also has enoug
 h interest for kids in their teens. The track to Legoland is 1 km each w
 ay, with some uneven sections but no big hills. At Legoland we will set 
 up base in a wind-sheltered dip among gum trees between the boulders. Yo
 unger children may prefer to stay there, exploring small boulders. Other
 s can follow the leader who has checked out three circuits of about 100 
 metres each, that weave through cracks, tunnels and caves before returni
 ng to base. Each child will need to be within sight of their parent or t
 heir responsible adult at all times; if your child wishes to do any of t
 he circuits, that means at least one adult in your family will need to b
 e flexible enough to scramble over large boulders and crawl through gaps
 . After lunch we will return the same way to the cars. Note that the dri
 ve of approx 1 hour from Canberra includes 15 minutes dirt road, which i
 s best done in AWD/4WD. Please discuss with the leader beforehand if you
  plan to drive a 2WD. We will meet in Tharwa and then drive in convoy. T
 o book for your family, please hit 'Create a Booking'. At the 'Include a
  message' step, please list the names of all the adults and kids in your
  group, plus the ages of the kids. A confirmation of the start time and 
 rendezvous point, and weather details will be sent to each person who ha
 s made a booking, a couple of days beforehand. If you are in any doubt a
 bout your family's ability to do this walk, mention that in the message.
