(Tomorrow is a public holiday.) Watch the sun set from Big Monks. From Orange Thorn Cres in Banks we’ll peer into backyards as we walk fire trail to the SE corner of the suburb. Then a heart-starting climb up to Big Monks, rising 230vm over 900m across the ground. Watch the sun set at 5.27pm. Return via torchlight down the Banks Steep Track. Around 5km and 280vm climb.
