STRATHNAIRN TO SHEPHERDS LOOKOUT AND THEN TOWARDS URIARRA CROSSING

A walk with good views of the Murrumbidgee River, starting at Strathnairn and following the track, rocky in places, to Shepherds Lookout and then on towards Uriarra Crossing, where we will have an early lunch by the river, some 500m before the Crossing. Opportunity if anyone wants to swim. Return the same way.
Climb: about 350m and around 12-13km.
Forecast: good.
Start time: 8.30 am. at the meeting spot just before the Stepping Stone Café. That is, from Pro Hart Avenue, turn left to the end of Gullifer Street in Strathnairn.
