DESCRIPTION:A 27km, 2 day, day pack coastal walk from Tathra to Merimbul
 a. Our “Wharf to Wharf” adventure will be split over two days, Satur
 day and Sunday, making it a relatively easy weekend. We’ll do a car sh
 uffle on both days. On Day 1 we’ll start at the Tathra Wharf, then mak
 e our way to Scotts Hut picnic area on Wallagoot Lake (13kms). Then on D
 ay 2 we’ll start back at Scotts Hut and walk the remaining 14kms to Me
 rimbula. I had originally intended to make this a full pack weekend with
  camping halfway at Hobart Beach campground, but it appears that the cam
 psites there are booked out for that weekend. So, I’ve made it a nice 
 and easy two day day pack walk instead. We will base ourselves in Merimb
 ula for the weekend, although you don’t have to stay here, as long as 
 you’re somewhere close to either the start or the finish of both towns
 . I have booked a 3 bedroom cabin at the “Beach Cabins Merimbula” Ho
 liday Park which looks quite nice. I have two rooms now available, one p
 erson per room, cost will be $133 per person for the two nights (Friday,
  Saturday). First in best dressed, but if you miss out on mine, they hav
 e several more available to book and share with others. Keep in mind als
 o that you will have to be ready to start the walk in Tathra at 9am on t
 he Saturday, so it’s strongly advised that you drive down on Friday af
