A circuit in Tallaganda forest, featuring a rocky view point, varied vegetation including some wonderful old growth brown barrel forest with a grassy floor, and a small creek. This section of Tallaganda remained unburnt in the 2019/20 fires. About half on informal footpads and half off track . The footpads include some sections with loose stones. The off-track includes some fairly open forest, patches of scrub, clambering over logs and crossing some steep-sided gullies. Our starting point is an old fire trail recently upgraded to 2WD standard; its existence will be of interest to other leaders. Bring morning tea and lunch.
