Mt Ainslie and Mt Majura circuit. E/M Wednesday Walk

This walk will be led by Robin Cayzer (mob. 0417 238 652) on behalf of CBC.
We start from the parking area at the intersection of Fairbairn Ave and Mt Ainslie Drive behind Campbell and proceed to the Telecom Trail which we follow to Hancocks Road, the old TSR Track and the Cherryburn Trail before slowly ascending the Mineshaft to meet the Centenary Trail route to the top of Mt. Majura for lunch.
Our return will be via the Centenary Trail to Mt Ainslie from where we will drop down via the old quarry to the cars by early afternoon.
Those doing their first Wednesday Walk and those who are not members of the CBC, BBC or NPA, must contact the leader to discuss the level of difficulty of the walk.

Meeting Point: Start of Mt Ainslie Drive, just off Fairbairn Avenue in Campbell, ACT.
Meeting time: 8:15 am for an 8:30 am start.
Grading: Medium. (CBC ME, BBC 9)
Distance; 15km. Total climb: 350m Descent: 350m.
Terrain: Fire trails, bush tracks and footpads.
Weather: Most likely 20 o to 31 o, no rain
Bring: Hat, sunscreen, morning tea/lunch and 2 litres of water is recommended.
