DESCRIPTION:An overnight walk, camping on the Rams Head Range in Koscius
 ko National Park. Suitable for members as an introduction to off-track w
 alking and summer camping in an alpine environment. The walk begins with
  a steepish climb up the Dead Horse Gap walking track (450m over 4km). A
 fter leaving the track at the high point, a more gradual climb leads to 
 the pleasant campsite next to a gently flowing creek. The relaxed aftern
 oon may be enjoyed by just lolling around the tents or strolling the hig
 her ground to check out the views. The return journey is by following th
 e Great Dividing Range down the Rams Heads back to Dead Horse Gap, baggi
 ng some peaks along the way.
