DESCRIPTION:Total distance is about 45 km, ascent 1100m. We will do a lo
 op walk (anti-clockwise): Day 1: 12.2km on the Round Mountain Fire Trail
  to Derschkos Hut, camp at Derschkos Hut Day 2: 2.1km from Derschkos Hut
  to the junction, leave our packs for the climb of Mt Jagungal, (3 km ea
 ch way, 400m ascent to the summit at 2061m). Collect our packs and walk 
 about 7km to O'Keefes Hub, where we will camp overnight. We may encounte
 r David's group and have a great fun. Day 3: 16km on Grey Mare Trail kee
 p Northwest, cross the Tumut River (someone described the descent to the
  Tumut River is reminiscent of Scottish highland walks), heading west pa
 ssing Round Mountain Hut (newly rebuilt) then turn north towards our car
  pack. Drive from Canberra to Round Mountain Trail – 240km 3 hours (vi
 a Cooma). We leave Canberra early morning at 7am. $200 travel cost per v
 ehicle. Please indicate if you would like to be driver or passenger.
