This Easy to Medium graded walk will be led by John Kelly (johntkelly55@hotmail.com, Mob: 0400 581 303) on behalf of the Brindabella Bushwalking Club.
The walk starts at the Mulligans' Flat Rd entrance to the Little Mulligan's Flat Reserve and heads initially N/W on the Centenary Trail and loops around this reserve, There will be a steady climb on a combination of track and firetails, along the ACT/NSW border. The walk will take us past Oak Hill and to the Northern Campsite for morning Tea. We'll continue on good track till we find a good spot for lunch. We'll return to the cars the way we came but towards the finish we will take a short cut down a steep hill via the Golden Moth Enclosure.
The walk will be about 15 km with a 300km climb. As it will be quite warm please bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat.
Those doing their first Wednesday Walk, and those who are not members of the CBC, BBC or NPA, must contact the leader to discuss the level of difficulty of the walk.
