Orca Rock and Rendezvous Creek

We start at Rendezvous Creek car park following the creek, crossing the creek at the second bridge. From here we pick up the track setting a fast pace (6.5 km in 1hr 1/2) to re-cross the creek further down the valley. Once over the creek we will have morning tea before starting our ascent up to Orca Rocks and possible Rendezvous Crags but only if time permits. Morning tea after crossing the creek and lunch at Orca Rocks. Time permitting we may visit the Rock Art on our return. Returning back to the valley floor we will make our way back to the cars.
The regrowth since the fires make this a tough walk and a long day, please consider your fitness when deciding if this walk is for you.

Terrain information
The track is good allowing for a fast pace. The ascent is through some thick scrub with rock scrambling and therefore much slower. Gloves and gaiters recommended. The creek crossing is across fallen timber so should be accomplished with dry feet but no guarantees.

Meet at Lanyon Shops and car pool in 2 cars. $36.00 per car, $9.00 pp.. Please indicate with your booking if happy to drive, its all on tarmac.
