The first day is a gentle half day walk in through unburnt forest and meadows to camp in a large creekside glade. On the second day , with daypacks, we will descend Peppercorn Creek to look at the falls, including the spectacular main falls, and retrace our steps to camp. The re will be an option for fitter members of the group with appropriate ex perience to extend the second day by exploring further downstream where there are probably more cascades. The third day is a half-day walk out. This walk requires experience in off track walks at CBC 'rough' grade, i ncluding rock scrambling experience on slopes where thick scrub may obsc ure a cliff edge. It has some scrub, steep slopes, possible wades (thoug h the leader managed to keep dry feet on the recce) and some exposure. T he unavoidable exposure would, if you fell, involve a drop of approx 2-3 metres. The optional exposure, to a good viewpoint at the top of the ma in falls, involves a 2 metre wide razorback with a sheer 50 metre drop b elow. The pace will generally be moderate, for safety, and the uphill pa ce will be moderate to slow. URL:https://canberrabushwalkingclub.mybilby.com/activities/3682 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
