An evening walk of about 1.5 hours, beginning at 6.30pm. We will start by following a track around the base of Mt Painter and then look at some wombat holes before heading up to the water tanks and onto the summit of Mt Painter. Good views from the top. We will then take a track down, and back to the cars to complete the circuit. .
You may need a torch for the return journey depending on how fast we walk. Gaiters are also recommended for walking in the areas of tall grass.
No need to book. Meeting at 6:20pm near the horse paddocks in Mackellar Crescent, Cook. There is a small turning to the horse paddocks between house numbers 57 and 61.
