Mt Tennent

Missed the recent Mt Tennent walk? Me too!
Starting from the Namadgi Visitors Centre, we will tackle the many, many rocky steps and 800m vertical climb at a steady pace, but stopping along the way to catch our breath, regroup, admire the summer flowers, and fantastic views at various points. Maybe last time, you didn’t notice the Australia shaped rock above? The track is well defined all the way, but after the flattish section to Cypress Pines lookout, becomes steep, climbing all the way to the top with lots and lots of rocky steps. Good effort required. An early start, with morning tea at the summit. If it is too hot or wet, this walk will be cancelled and those with valid bookings will be notified.
