DESCRIPTION:**No bookings required for joint club Wednesday Walks** This
  SECOND Easy to Medium graded walk will be led by Peter Dalton (0414 363
  255) on behalf of the Brindabella Bushwalking Club. As a trial. there a
 re two Easy/Medium walks this week, with the other being led by David Ab
 ela. The aim is to cater for the large numbers who have been participati
 ng lately. We will start the walk at the Orroral Tracking Station site. 
 Most of the day’s climb will be completed in the first stage (before m
 orning tea), which is up the winding track to the Geodetic Dome. The dom
 e is now open and includes notes on its history. After morning tea here 
 we will wind our way down on the excellent track through the granite tor
 s and be back at the picnic site for lunch. Next, we visit the homestead
 , woolshed and surrounds before returning to the cars. Meeting place: Me
 et at the Kambah Village shops, Marconi St, Kambah – opposite the Ampo
 l station. Time: 8.15 am for 8.30 am departure Transport cost: $10 Weath
 er forecast: 5-25 deg and dry Grading: Easy (7), distance ~12 km, climb 
 ~300 m Maps: Rendezvous Creek Those doing their first Wednesday Walk, an
 d those who are not members of the CBC, BBC or NPA, must contact the lea
 der to discuss the level of difficulty of the walk.
