A challenging but beautiful day out. From Corin Dam, we follow a steep foot track through lovely forest up the Stockyard Spur. We then continue on the Mount Franklin Road, past historic Pryors Hut, before heading up to the summit of Mt Gingera. Spectacular views at the top, including a renowned ancient snow gum. We meander a short distance along the top, take a short off-track section back down to the road, and then retrace our steps back to Corin Dam. For fit and experienced walkers. Bring lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and plenty of water. A joint CBC/NPA walk.
