Macquarie Rivulet Canyoning - lower section.

We'll go mid-week to avoid the crowds. This popular canyon has several waterfall drops in the lower canyon starting below Clover Falls. The longest is an optional 18-20m drop. The lower section is great for people who want to experience a bit of technical waterfall abseiling. For experienced abseilers/canyoners with their own wetsuits and abseiling/canyoning gear.

This lower canyon section is an open system with three waterfall drops with the longest an optional 18-20m. Aside from the waterfall drops, there'll be wading and a couple of short swims and an optional jump in and slide. The exit 'track' (faint) is before Jump Rock and heads back through the open bush to the very small carpark. More details at https://ropewiki.com/Macquarie_Pass
Transport information
We'll leave a car at the very small Clover Hills Road. The exit track will take us back there. Carpooling from Canberra or from Robertson pie shop. Costs $60 per person. Rope fee - $3 per person per rope (so 2 ropes at $6 per person). Tape fee - $1 per metre used per person.
A walk or similar activity with a duration of a day or part day. No overnight gear required.
