This half-day circuit covers varied terrain including Stranger Pond and Mt Stranger. It includes some eucalypt forest, views of the ranges from Mt Stranger, creekside flats and a couple of km beside the Murrumbidgee. It is about half on various tracks, and half on grasslands. Pace on the uphills will be moderate. Bring your morning tea. Long pants and/or gaiters recommended to ward off grass seeds. No need to book - just turn up by 9.30 am. Drive along the Pine Island Road towards Pine Island Reserve, Greenway. Keep left after the cattle grid and you will see us parked on the left. If you reach the public toilets you've gone too far. Should finish before 12.30 pm.
