We'll commence the walk at the carpark of the Cork Oak Plantation in the Arbo retum, proceed through the plantation and follow the Centenary Trail und er William Hovell Drive into the Aranda woodlands and flora reserve. Fro m there down to the Caswell Drive Underpass and a steep bush track up to Black Mtn. We will take lunch here and ponder why this outstanding land mark has been left unloved and unopen for years. Returning to the cars v ia a steep firetrail on the southside of the tower, to pick up the bike paths under Caswell Drive, etc and back through the cork oaks.
