The bushwalk starts on the Wild Cattle Flat Road south of Captains Flat. It's all off-track, mainly in the catchment of Ballinafad Creek, with a variety of attractive forest types, from tall open forests to snow gum woodlands. The area is trackless and has not been burnt in recent years. The scrub is OK in comparison to Namadgi.
A long walk suitable for experienced off-track bushwalkers.
