M/H Wednesday Walk, 22nd October 2025 (CBC sponsored) - Mirigan Rocks in Orroral Valley

The walk will start from the carpark of the former Orroral Valley tracking station then will follow the Cotter Hut fire trail to the untracked southern ridge that climbs up to the top of Mirigan Rocks (1,339m). Reaching the summit involves about 200m of climbing through moderate scrub. On the top there are two vantage points with good views at either end of the summit ridge. We will then drop down the untracked north-eastern side of Mirigan Rocks to pick up the Australian Alps Walking Track which we will follow back to the carpark.
