Meet in the access lane beside 21 Orange Thorn Cres Banks at 5.30pm. Please be mindful of residents when you park. Walk up the creek behind the flood mitigation wall, then up an open spur to join the Banks Steep Track. Visit Big Monks for grand views and ‘Little Monks’ to sit in the stone throne. Descend steeply to the suburban edge and return via fire trail. Around 5km and 280vm climb. Sunset at 7.25pm. Bring a torch just in case.
