Meet at Lanyon Marketplace at 0900, combine bikes and cars and travel to Gudgenby River / Top Naas Rd. Leave a car there and continue to Mt Clear Campground. Ride down the Naas Valley Fire Trail visiting Demandering Hut and Horse Gully Hut on the way back to the car left at Gudgenby River. Retrieve cars from Mt Clear and return to Lanyon Marketplace approximately 1600.
There are multiple Naas River crossings so this trip is subject to river heights and prior rainfall.
The ride best suits an XC / trail style bike but a downhill bike will serve. It is mostly downhill with undulating sections down the Naas River Valley.
About 36km and 650m overall descent
Max participants 5 or 8 depending on available car carrying capacity. Leaders car can take up to 5 bikes.
