  ROCKS AND GORILLA ROCK – (BBC Grading - 10) Leader: Peter Dalton (041
 4363255). We start from the Honeysuckle Creek Campground and then along 
 the Australian Alps Walking Track (AAWT) to Booroomba Rocks car park for
  morning tea. We then go up the short, but steep, track to the lookouts 
 and across to the large south-western Booroomba slab for lunch. After lu
 nch we head westerly through scrub for about 2 km to Gorilla Rock. It is
  then around 1 km south to the AAWT, through lighter bush, before headin
 g back to Honeysuckle campground. Long pants, gaiters and gloves are str
 ongly recommended. Distance: 11 km. Climb: 630 m. Cars: 70 km ($10). Map
 : Corin Dam. Meeting point: Kambah Village shops (Marconi Cres, opposite
  petrol station). Be ready to leave at 8.30 am. Cars: 70 km ($10 per pas
 senger).
