Bring a torch and meet at 6pm at the car park at the end of Molonglo Road. (From the Pialligo Av/Yass Rd/Sutton Rd intersection travel about 1.5 km along Sutton Rd and then turn onto Kowen Road. After about 600 metres turn right onto Molonglo Gorge Rd and follow this to the car park at the end of the road).
The path meanders among trees which will provide protective shade. The walk runs along the northern side of the gorge giving views up and down the Molonglo River.
Please book as usual via Bilby. If walk cancelled for any reason (e.g., too hot, too wet) valid participants will be notified via Bilby by 5:30pm on day of the walk.

Terrain information
Track winds up and down the hillside and across creeks and gullies (mostly on stepping stones). The path is rarely more than a metre in width, often with an almost sheer drop down to the river below.
