Canoe Creek and Environs

This walk we explore Canoe Creek which is in the western part of the Burrinjuck Nature Reserve, and is accessed via the Childowla Road, south of Bookham on the Hume Hwy. We head east up the creek through various rocky sections, scrub and small waterfalls (if there is enough water in the system), then head west climbing a large scrubby hill and descend via a steep rocky, scree covered slope back to the cars. All of this walk is off track and involves clambering up rocky creek sections, negotiating small waterfalls, scrub, ascending a scrubby hill and descending a steep, rocky and scree covered slope.
