DESCRIPTION:We start at Yankee Hat car park, following the walking track
  to cross the Gudgenby grassland and Bogong Creek. We follow the track f
 or a short while and then head off track NW and ascend up between Yankee
  Hat North and South. We should reach the summit about mid-day for lunch
 , on a clear day there are great views from here. From the summit we fol
 low the ridgeline to the SE stopping at various slabs. We then take the 
 best route we can find back down to the valley floor and return to the c
 ars via Frank and Jacks Hut. The regrowth is heavy so be prepared for a 
 lot of bush bashing and rock scrambling. The regrowth since the fires ma
 ke this a hard walk and a long day, please consider your fitness when de
 ciding if this walk is for you. The timings are an estimate only.
