DESCRIPTION:Located in the northern Tasman region of the South Island, t
 he Abel Tasman Coastal Track and the Heaphy tracks are on the official l
 ist of “Top Ten Great Walks of New Zealand”. Both are close to the t
 own of Nelson and this is where we will be basing our stay. Both walks a
 re full pack, tent camping (NOT staying in any huts), so experienced mul
 ti day hikers with reasonable fitness, camping experience and all of the
  necessary equipment may join. The Abel Tasman Coastal Track is about 60
 kms with 5 days of walking (12 km/day average). The Heaphy Track is abou
 t 80kms of walking over 5 days (16 km/day). We will have a rest day in N
 elson in between both walks. I have already made reservations for all ca
 mp sites and shuttle bus transport for eight walkers for both walks. Cos
 t of the camping fees and bus transports for the walks is about $550 pp.
  Other costs include air fares and accomodation in Nelson. If you’re i
