DESCRIPTION:*** One spot now available *** Located in the northern Tasma
 n region of the South Island, the Abel Tasman Coastal Track and the Heap
 hy tracks are on the official list of “Top Ten Great Walks of New Zeal
 and”. Both are close to the town of Nelson and this is where we will b
 e basing our stay. Both walks are full pack, tent camping (NOT staying i
 n any huts), so experienced multi day hikers with reasonable fitness, ca
 mping experience and all of the necessary equipment may join. The Abel T
 asman Coastal Track is about 60kms with 5 days of walking (12 km/day ave
 rage). The Heaphy Track is about 80kms of walking over 5 days (16 km/day
 ). We will have a rest day in Nelson in between both walks. I have alrea
 dy made reservations for all camp sites and shuttle bus transport for ei
 ght walkers for both walks. Cost of the camping fees and bus transports 
 for the walks is about $550 pp. Other costs include air fares and accomo
 dation in Nelson. If you’re interested in coming along, let me know an
