Ever explored the base of Rob Roy, hopping along the creek line? This might be the perfect walk for you!
It’s a short but exciting route with a bit of everything: rock scrambling, steep climbs and descents, and a splash of water—just enough to get your shoes wet (but not enough for a swim).
Meeting Point: Orange Thorn Crescent, near Milligan Street (Please note: parking is limited close to the meeting point, so you may want to park a little further away.)
Time: 8:30 AM sharp
We’ll start by following a fire trail into the nature reserve, then head off-track to reach the creek. From there, we’ll follow the creek for about 1 km, scramble up through woodland, visit the Big Monk trig, and descend steeply back to the carpark. And you can have afternoon tea with family celebrating Father's Day.
Note: The walk will be cancelled if it’s raining.
