Bushfold Flats lies to the west of Mt Tennent. The easiest access is from Apollo Road via the Mt Tennent Fire Trail. It’s still a climb, but not as much as coming over Mt Tennent. Climb north to gain the Flats and visit some of its historical European sites. It is a pleasant open area, with Mt Tennent towering to the east and a boutique range of knolls to the west. We can go as far as we like, returning the same way. Spoiler alert – there are 19 geocaches for you to find for me stops for you to take in the sights 😂. If that’s not your cup of tea, we can lunch at Blue Gum Creek ford or visit Dunns Hut site to the north. Up to 15km and 500vm.
