The aim of t hese walks is to “expose members of the public to the area, to promote the Conservation Council’s campaign to protect the Western Edge. We j ust want more people out there to be connected to and to care about the area”. The western edge is defined as bordered by the western sides of Molonglo Valley, Western Creek and Tuggeranong in the east, the Murrumb idgee River in the west, and the Molonglo River in the north-east. Tuesday 14 October: Mt Stromlo and Brown Trig 3. Sunday 23 November: Murrumbidgee River Walking Track south from Cotter 4.
