BOGONG CREEK FALLS

We start our walk at Yankee Hat car park, taking a direct route from the car park we cross the grasslands briefly picking up the FT before heading NW up the true right hand side of Bogong Creek, its about 3.5 Km to the falls from this point through a variety of scrub, some light and some heavy bush bashing; it's slow going. Given the level of water in Bogong Creek on the valley floor the falls should be good. The photo was taken in January when levels were low.

Once out of the grasslands the bush is very thick in places. Gaiters and gloves strongly recommended.
Transport information
Meet at Lanyon Shops and car pool in 2 cars. $40.00 per car, $10.00 pp.. We do have 2 wet crossing of Hospital creek on the drive to Yankee Hat car park, better suited to AWD or 4 WD due to the low clearance, its shallow at present, please indicate with your booking if happy to drive.
