Following a combination of fire trai ls and small tracks, we initially follow the Botanic Gardens fire trail to link up with the Bushland Nature Walk to visit a viewing platform off ering lovely views out to Lake Burley Griffith and Parliamentary Triangl e. Then, with a little bit of huff and puff, continue on the narrow foot pad uphill, join the Lake View fire trail and with a bit more huff and p uff, head further uphill, crossing Black Mountain Drive, to reach anothe r look out spot. We then follow the ‘Hat Band/ Forest Loop' track arou nd the western side, before heading back to our starting point via the m ain summit trail. Then, we head into the Botanic Gardens to join a lovel y guided walk at 11am and learn all about Wattles. Great opportunity to ask those puzzling questions about Wattles! Please book on Bilby.
