Can't walk on Wednesdays? Other trips today to hard (they are for me)?
A repeat of last Wednesday's Easy-Medium Walk. Wander around at a sedate pace from Yankee Hat carpark to visit a geological 'brick factory', Frank and Jacks Hut and sheep dip. Cross Bogong Creek via the causeway and walk north to the newly reopened Yankee Hat aboriginal rock art and its fire-proof infrastructure. Return via the walking track, with a detour to Sinclairs Hut and well site and across the new bridge over Bogong Creek. Around 13km and 350vm of climb, graded as M/E-M. A 50-minute drive each way to Yankee Hat carpark. 4WD/AWD best suited for the fords over Hospital Creek.
