DESCRIPTION:NOTE CHANGE OF DATES: A three-day circuit, snowshoeing in th
 e back country of KNP. The intended route aims to snowshoe some high rid
 ge lines, with overnight snow camping at Schlink Hut and Tin Hut (pictur
 ed). Day 1: From the Guthega Power Station at Munyang, follow the Schlin
 k trail upwards to Schlink Hut. Day 2: Up to the high point on Kerries R
 idge before following the ridge line south for the short distance to Gun
 gartan Pass. Then it is across to Tin Hut to set up camp. After lunch, a
 n afternoon side trip to visit Mt Porcupine and its northern ridge. Day 
 3: A long day to finish. After a bag of Gungartan, the objective is to s
 hoe the crest of Disappointment Ridge back down to Munyang. A trip only 
 suitable for participants with previous experience in multi-day activiti
 es during winter in the mountains.
