A two day snowshoeing trip to snow camp overnight at Horse Camp Hut. From the Guthega Power Station at Munyang, follow the Schlink trail upwards to set up camp outside Horse Camp Hut, 5 km and 325m ascent. After lunch at the hut, we will head up above the tree line for an afternoon exploration of the area. Day 2: An optional morning wander then a return to Munyang via the Aqueduct and Schlink trails, 5 km.

Starting date may move back a day or two, depending on the weather conditions.

Suitable for participants (with a good hiking fitness) who are new to snowshoeing or snow camping.
