Well-formed track features timber b oardwalks, stone and gravel surfaces. The adventure begins at the Port A rthur Historic Site, followed by a boat transfer (75 min), travelling pa st secluded coves and beneath the towering sea cliffs of the Tasman Peni nsula — the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere — before landing at r emote Denmans Cove. Over four days and three nights, walk through toweri ng eucalypt forests, coastal heathlands and breathtaking clifftop vistas high above the Southern Ocean. Each evening will be spent in warm, comf ortable and environmentally sensitive cabins at Surveyors, Munro and Ret akunna. Rise early on the final day for the steady climb up Mount Fortes cue, rewarded with sweeping views and continue on to the wild tip of Cap e Hauy for views striking dolerite columns. If conditions allow, we can stop for a swim before catching the bus from Fortescue Bay back to Port Arthur Historic Site (30mins) Whilst the walk itself will not be strenou s, you need to be prepared for wild and wet Tassie weather with the prop er gear.
